Memorandum II

I hope a smile found your face today and everyday after. If beauty could have a true definition, for a thousand words be a picture of you. Tonight could be the realisation that life be but one dream. Waking up to see your worst enemy in the mirror. The face of sadness through eyes that see no blinding epiphany.

No comfort finds me this day, a birthday wish given from candles we light for a better tomorrow, blown out when no one comes to see me but sorrow.

The gift and curse of life is still a mystery to me. To feel pain and shame we try and hold for others only to weigh ourselves down for no thanks required.

Heavy be our shame as we sacrifice a smile to be the rain, so the beauty and all we love can shine so bright through tomorrow and be the light for everyone to follow.

Dark days can turn ever grey for no fortune finds the unspoken brave. Silent quests we try our best to fall once again.

Fear not in these words that bring mourning thoughts, for your smile is your true strength. Can you try and be the sunshine for all like me. No light touches my face when I awake from sleeping shadows, I will be the rain to wash over my shame for no tomorrow be a clear window for me to see through.

But each day do we display our best in hope a smile finds my face before my last frown causes me to drown.

Can you smile for me and those who hide away, scared to speak of what the mirror shrieks in vile agony.

Shine so bright for those we lost to pain, the rain takes us away, shine for us and be the love for the cost we have paid.
